Today was a blur. All I can really remember is stomping down the halls with Bailey in a manly fashion. And you all look very yummy today. *sharpens knives*

At dinner we were listening to one of Akon's not-so-gangster songs. My mom has recently gotten into modern music, while I have explored oldies. And all of a sudden my dad spoke up:

Dad: So, who is this singer?
Mom: The guy you don't like, you know, the guy who went to jail.
Dad: Interesting. This song sounds kind of reggae, like Bob Marley. o__o
Mom: He used to sing really gangster-type songs but recently since he's been getting a lot of younger fans he's decided to make his songs more parent-friendly.
Dad: Oh. What's his name?
Mom: Akon.
Dad (seriously): Acorn huh...

And my brother and I are just looking the other way, trying not to fall out of our chairs laughing.
